Bei Otto fängt eine seiner berühmten Englischlektionen mit den Worten an: “Peter, Paul and Mary are planning a bank robbery”. Das hatten die drei natürlich nie nötig, denn sie gehörten zu den Helden der US-amerikanischen Folkszene. Vor einiger Zeit lief uns eines ihrer Stücke wieder über den Weg, das sozusagen einen deutschen Migrationshintergrund hat: “Oh Haupt voll Blut und Wunden”. Später wurde es auch von Simon und Garfunkel be- und verarbeitet. Der Text, den die drei sangen scheint uns so zeitlos, dass wir beschlossen es ausnahmsweise nicht ins Deutsche zu übertragen. Well, well.
